At INFINITY, you'll see a real moon rocket and a lunar command module from the 1960's Apollo program. There are also galleries focusing on earth-based sciences, like severe weather forecastings and ocean exploration. The entire family will love INFINITY, where hands-on exhibits make science come to life.
The Lynn Meadows Discovery Center is a children's museum that offers hands-on, interactive learning experiences for children. Kids will love the Super Colossal Climbing Structure. Kids can role-play as veterinarians, visit the science center, or be the star of their own TV show. This indoor experience makes for a great rainy day activity.
The Mississippi Aquarium is a superb new attraction in Gulfport. The focus is on local waters and their animals. Kids will love touching seastars and rays in the touch pool. Couples will enjoy walking through the center tunnel and looking for Banner, the sea turtle. The sea otters' antics will amuse the whole family.
NASA Stennis Space Center welcomes visitors to the INFINITY Science Center. Here, you will find educational artifacts, programs, and galleries. You might get lucky and see a test firing of a rocket engine. Over 50 years of NASA history is on display. The Science Center hosts a massive piece of one of the Saturn V moon rockets, along with other memorabilia from America's space program.
Zip'N Fun features a 50 game, tree-to-tree obstacle, and adventure course. On the Treetop Adventure Course, guests of all ages can ride zip lines, cross wobbly bridges, tight ropes, and be thrilled by a Tarzan jump. The Junior Adventure course is perfect for kids and has activities with just the right amount of challenge.
