The Gulf Coast Big Rig Truck Show 2023 takes place at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center from June 21 through July 22. The exhibit hall opens from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday, hall hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A highlight of the event is the Chrome on The Coast Competition which will award winners in the categories of Wash & Show Specialty Trucks, Limited Mileage, Working Under 500,000 Miles, Working Over 500,000 Miles, and more.
The grand finale of this two-day event is the Convoy on Beach Road, taking place at closing on Saturday evening. This escorted convoy and light show will depart from Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center parking lot #4 before traveling west to Jones Park. From there, it will loop back to the convention center. Participants will have time to prepare their vehicles with lights and decorations in support of the Wounded Warrior Project before the convoy's departure. There will also be an opportunity to picnic on the beach to enjoy the convoy.
