Kids in a water park

Nothing cures a hot day quicker than a water park. Thankfully, Gulfport has its own right here. Gulf Islands Water Park is located right off of I-10 and US 49 north of town. The park features over ten rides that range from Riptide Racer to a relaxing wave pool. The Camille Cutter is a 400-plus foot rafting adventure, and the Horn Island Blast is the area's only water roller coaster.

Has your family tried ziplining yet? Fly through the treetops at your own pace, and make the adventure as exciting or relaxing as you like. The Tree Top Adventure Course is for adults, while kids will love the Junior Adventure Course. The course has over fifty treetop games and obstacles to challenge you, including sky bridges, swinging logs, and a Tarzan jump.

Spectators are free at Zip'N Fun, and there are plenty of great photo ops to grab snaps of your family. Check out our blog if you want to learn more about this zipline in Gulfport, MS. Zip'N Fun is located right next to Gulf Islands Water Park.

Mention trampolines, and most kids are in. At Altitude Trampoline Gulfport, you can bounce through all five different trampoline courses. Start on the main course, which features a vast room filled wall-to-wall with trampolines. Try your hand at Wipe Out, where you battle a spinning wheel that tries to knock you down. Or test your chops on the Battle Beam or at Extreme Dodgeball.

Altitude Trampoline is located on Highway 49, just south of I-10. Check their website for special events, like toddler time every Tuesday through Friday from noon to 2:00 pm.

The Lynn Meadows Discovery Center is a 15,000 square-foot museum with lots of hands-on activities and learning opportunities.
